Shirt: Old navy, Necklace: Forever 21
Getting dressed today I realized that my personal style has changed a ton since living in Los Angeles and working at a stuffy firm. My closet no longer consists of somber funeral clothes and is now full of colorful clothes that give off the impression that I don't hate the world. HUGE change.
Luckily my job now gives me the ability to wear things other than suits every day. Sure, I start the week off with pencil skirts and a button up or two, but I gradually casual it up as the week goes by. Which is why today (Wednesday.. aka "middle of the week. I only have two more days of this!" day) is a chambray shirt and black slacks. My favorite thing to do lately is accessorize like a mofo and I tend to wear at least a necklace/watch or earrings. I like to be comfy when I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off but also bust out a little pop of color when I can.
So, how do you work it at work? Always suited up or letting your hair down?
